Art art art

Hmmm, I'm getting better at this whole 'regular posting' thing. ;)
So I've basically spent today working on my art. I feel like I've done a lot, but looking over the work I've done, it doesn't look like I've done a lot, which is not a good thing, and also it now means that I have one effing huge backlog of work that I was supposed to do this evening, but I did art instead. Oh well, they both needed doing, and at least art's due in tomorrow, unlike the other stuff. Well, appart from 2 bits. But I can do them now. No probs. Lets work until midnight again... :(

A sad sad situation... AND SPAIN!!!

Its a sad sad situation when...

• When my life has been taken over by exams that I'm far too obsessed with
• When I'm unhappy with 2 A*s , 1 B and the rest As in my mock exams.
• When I've banned myself from certain websites during the weekdays cos I need to work
• When I can't eat more than 1 itty-biity, minimalistic pancake in the morning cos I'm determined to get fit. 

On the upside, I JUST GOT BACK FROM SPAIN!!!!!! Ohmygosh, it was so beautiful! We went to Seville and Cordoba, both stunning, and I did one heck load of sketching and photography. Also, in case I haven't mentioned before, I'm a serious foody - ie, I love all different types of food and could happily spend most of my time eating if it wasn't for the fact that I'd then become morbidly obese and pop. But just to clarify, before you start picturing me as 1,000,000 kg and big as a house, I don't like junk food. Fizzy pop totally doesn't do it for me, I hate crisps (apart from 'watsits'. They're addictive.) and although I eat chocolate in abundance, its only really good chocolate, not those bags of chocolate-ish stuff you can get in huge bags from Sainsburys. So I'm in ok shape. (Ok being a vague term. I'm still going to the gym twice a week, cos there's too much of me around the middle in my opinion, although my friends yell at me when I say that...) And I love to cook. Cook cook cook! Anyway, back to the point... So yeah, the Spanish food is simply divine - we had Tapas galore, and just as a tip for anyone going to Spain - the best Tapas is found in tiny, local bars and restaurants with zero tourists. If any place is more then 40% tourists, the Tapas won't be as good. At all. Although, that said, if there are no people at all, tourists or otherwise, then its just a really crap restaurant...

So yeah, Spain was fricking awesome. I'll put up some photos/scan in some sketches if I get the time, and once I've sorted through them.

Anyhoo, back to working now. (You see what I mean about it taking over my life????)
