It's fairly possible I'm mad...

It's fairly possible I'm mad... I have realized this before, but I think I've just confirmed it: I decided to go running in the mornings. Now, if you know me, you will realize that this is about as stupid as it sounds, especially as it is now December, and only starts getting light at about mid-day. Well, not quite, but you get the idea. My (non-)logic is that if it is cold and dark and I am still half asleep, I might be able to persuade myself that it isn't actually happening. Errr.... We'll see how that goes...
And the madness continues - we were supposed to film our next ALC (Alternative Language Club) notice in lunch break today, but Katie and I both came into school this morning, took one look at each other, and simultaneously said "I forgot the props!" *Pause.* "Oh really, you too? Good." And that was that. ;-) Ruth and Kate (Not Katie) despair over us...
On a less mad and but no less hectic note, I had my French mock oral exam today! Wehay for no-more-oral-french-revision! Unfortunately, that means I now have to face up to the reality of revising for my English mock, which I had, until now, been able to avoid on the basis that my french mock was closer and therefore was more urgent. Again, I love my illogicality.
The french went fine - full marks on the role-plays, and high score on the 1 min presentation, but I completely forgot the imperfect tense in the 5 min conversation, and all my 'complex' sentence structures flew right out of the window. Oh well...
Wish me luck for running tomorrow!
Oh, and ps, I realised that I forgot to tell you about the ALC meeting yesterday. I'll tell you tomorrow. Hilarity will ensue, but now I've got homework to do. :(
Bisous! ('Kisses' in french. See, I'm totally in the zone!)

Mild panic attack

The reality of GCSEs is something that is both hard to avoid and very easy to block out. The sheer amount of STUFF that we're required to learn just makes your head burst. I've got no idea where to begin. I'm sitting on my floor trying to revise, but as soon as I start looking at one thing I realise just how much of another I've got to learn. I've no idea how to start! So then I end up avoiding... By blogging... Or reading. Or youtubing. (Yeah, i just verbed youtube.) And then I feel guilty, but still don't know how to start, and moreover I've got nothing done, because of how much I NEED to get done. Aaaagh! Vicious circles suck!

Technical problems!

Aaaagh! Technical problems suck!
I edited the design briefly, just adding in a tap thingy, but now the font's changed! Someone tell me: Do you see the title as the curly one it normally is or in a more blockish, straight, official-looking font that it shows up as for me?

Pancakes!

I luuuurve pancakes! Blueberry ones especially! Omnomnom!

Ps, these are not crepes, these are American pancakes. Hence they aren't flat. All kudos to Nigella Lawson!

The results of my procrastination

I am a great believer in procrastination. No, wait, scratch that. I hate procrastination. I just happen to be addicted to it.
This is the result of my latest procrastination session.  It will make you brain become a vegetable forevermore.
